چکیده
Abstract Background Blood biomarkers of Alzheimer’s disease (AD) attract much attention researchers recently. In clinical studies, repeated freeze/thaw cycles often occur and may influence the stability biomarkers. This study is to investigate amyloid‐β 1‐40 (Aβ ), 1‐42 ) total Tau protein (T‐Tau) in plasma over cycles. Method Plasma samples from healthy control (HC, n = 3), AD patients (AD, 3) Parkinson’s (PD, were collected by standardized procedure, immediately frozen at ‐80 °C. Samples underwent 5 (‐80°C/room temperature) The concentrations Aβ , T‐Tau monitored during tests using immunomagnetic reduction (IMR) assay. relative percentage (%) after every cycle was calculated for each biomarker. Result A tendency decrease averaged percentages through freeze thaw (100 97.37%), 95.56%) 96.42%) found. However, decreases are less than 5%. For all three biomarkers, no statistical significance found between levels fresh that experiencing five (p > 0.1). Conclusion 1‐40, stable measured with IMR.

Amyloidβ Peptides in interaction with raft-mime model membranes: a neutron reflectivity insight
The role of first-stage β-amyloid aggregation in the development of the Alzheimer disease, is widely accepted but still unclear. Intimate interaction with the cell membrane is invoked. We designed Neutron Reflectometry experiments to reveal the existence and extent of the interaction between β-amyloid (Aβ) peptides and a lone customized biomimetic membrane, and their dependence on the aggregati...
متن کاملP 142: Air Pollution\'s Triggering Role in Tau Protein Hyper Phosphorylation; A Sign of Alzheimer Disease
Nowadays, air pollution is one of the major problems in developed and developing countries. In recent years, effects of air pollution on neuroinflammatory diseases such as Alzheimer disease and Parkinson disease have been studied. Researches on polluted cities citizens indicate increasing in central nervous system (CNS) inflammatory factors in comparison with clean cities; also air pollution ex...
متن کاملConnecting epilepsy and Alzheimer’s Disease: Modeling of normal and pathological rhythmicity and synaptic plasticity related to Amyloidβ (Aβ ) effects
This paper is motivated by the hidden links between neurodegeneration due to Alzheimer’s disease and temporal lobe epileptic activity. β -amyloid peptides have multiple effects potentially at molecular, cellular, synaptic, network as well as system levels. To explore these links a computational framework was discussed, and two parts of the framework, i.e pathological rhythm generation and alter...
متن کاملIncreased levels of plasma total tau in adult Down syndrome
Down syndrome (DS) is the most prevalent chromosomal abnormality. Early-onset dementia with the pathology of Alzheimer's disease (AD) frequently develops in DS. Reliable blood biomarkers are needed to support the diagnosis for dementia in DS, since positron emission tomography or cerebrospinal fluid sampling is burdensome, particularly for patients with DS. Plasma t-tau is one of the establishe...
متن کاملStability of multivariate representation of business cycles over time
In order to replace the univariate indicators standard in the literature (cp. [Opp96]) by a multivariate representation of business cycles, the relevant ’stylized facts’ are to be identified which optimally characterize the development of business cycle phases. Based on statistical classification methods we found that, somewhat surprisingly, only two variables, ’wage and salary earners’ and ’un...
